ITINERARY ROBIN HOOD’S BAY
Tuesday/Friday:
8.30 am Depart Broughton Junior School. 10.00 am Toilet stop at Bridlington. 11.00 am Arrive Robin Hood's Bay. 12.00 noon Lunch Thorpe Hall - Discuss the importance of the Hall to smugglers. 1.30 pm Walk to Stoupe Beck and Robin Hood's Bay via the Cleveland Way. 5.30 pm Tea 6.30 pm Walk to the village of Raw via smuggling route. 9.30 pm Supper and bed.
Wednesday/Saturday:
8.30 am Breakfast. 9.30 am Visit Robin Hood's Bay church and enter smuggling roles. 11.30 am Explore streets of Robin Hood's Bay. 12.00 noon Lunch. 12.30 pm Smuggling plans, mapping, timing and route planning in Robin Hood's Bay. 4.00 pm Collect vocabulary for written work. 5.30 pm Tea. 6.30 pm Video about Herring Gulls. 7.00 pm Visit Church to confirm smuggling arrangements. 9.30 pm Supper and bed.
Thursday/Sunday:
8.30 am Breakfast. 9.30 am Rockpool studies. Pool plans and cross-sections. 12.00 noon Lunch. 12.30 pm Finalise plans for smuggling. Sketching and symmetry work (depending on tide) 5.30 pm Return for tea. Finalise smuggling details. 7.00 pm Smuggling run through streets of Robin Hood's Bay. 9.30 pm Bed.
Friday/Monday:
8.30 am Breakfast. 9.30 am Packing. 10.00 am Shopping and final work. 11.00 am Lunch. 12.00 - 1.00 pm Pack bus. 3.00 pm Arrive back in Broughton.
