Iced Cornflake Special

Ingredients

  • Margarine 360g
  • Sugar 180g
  • Flour - white 180g
  • Flour - wholemeal 60g
  • Baking powder 15g
  • Cocoa 25g
  • Coconut 240g
  • Cornflakes 60g
Icing-
  • Icing sugar 120g
  • Cocoa 15g
  • Boiling water- approx. 35ml

Method

  1. Melt margarine. Add the flour, sugar, coconut, cornflakes, cocoa and baking powder.
  2. Press into greasing tins.
  3. Cook in a moderate oven for approximately 1 hour.
  4. Cut whilst warm.
  5. Ice with chocolate icing when cold.
