Apple Crumble


  • Flour- white 450g
  • wholemeal 150g
  • Margarine 240g
  • Sugar 240g
  • Apple-tinned and chopped ¼ tin 625g
  • Fresh apples 750g
  • Demerara Sugar 30g


  • Prepare and partly cook the fresh apples. Add the chopped tinned apple and mix well.
  • Portion into tins.
  • Rub fat and sugar into flour.
  • Cover apples with the mixture.
  • Sprinkle tops with Demerara sugar.
  • Bake in a moderate oven for approximately 30 minutes.
